Hi Nicolò,
I had a strange experience with the last 3.11 kernels.
1) installation of 2013.0 32 bits on Packard Bell laptop (4 years old)
with the kernel 3.11.8-nrlQL-desktop-1omv. All is fine excepted the
wifi (module iwlwifi). I have two routers: Belkin and Huawei. With
both, the connexion is very easy but with the Belkin, a lot of
packets are lost (but not all) though the connexion works well with
the old mdv 2011 on the same laptop. Rebooting several times changes
nothing.

2) installation of kernel 3.11.10-nrjQL-laptop-69omv: during the boot
the system falls in rescue mode but I'm able to get a graphical
session. The problem is there is no wifi available at all. rfkill
doesn't help.

3) installation of kernel 3.11.9-nrjQL-desktop-1omv: grub is broken:
not boot ==> I have to reinstall the system.

4) after the new installation, booting with the original kernel lets
me normaly access the Belkin router which now works fine.

I guess this kind of manipulation is not perfectly standard ;)

Cdlt,
jcl
